When You Play Bingo Online, 99% of the time…
We all know that Bingo is an unpredictable game, and that’s part of the reason why we keep coming back to play more. The mystery (and the charm) of the game lies in not knowing what will happen next. In that way, Bingo is much like the lottery – winning is all in the luck of the draw. There are, however, some certainties that will occur 99% of the time when you play Bingo online. Bingo is a numbers game, right? And, like any numbers, Bingo numbers are also subject to the laws of mathematics. Several statisticians and mathematicians have run experiments to calculate all sorts of odds from the likelihood of winning on the 17th call to the chance that two people will call Bingo at the same time. We’ve rounded up some of the most interesting statistics to present you with (near) certainties in Bingo. There aren’t too many, but these are the golden laws of the game that will happen 99% of the time.
Did you know… In a 100-card Bingo room, there is a 99% chance of scoring Bingo in 24 calls or less. Any game that makes it to the 25th call is a serious oddity in the grand scheme of things. In fact, Bingo will be called by the 16th call in half of the games played.
Did you know… That the number of calls it takes to score a Bingo decreases when more cards are in play? In a 200-card room, there is a 99% chance of calling Bingo in 21 calls or less. If you’re in a 500-card room, 99% of the time Bingo will be called on the 18th call or less. In a 1000-card room, the 17th Bingo call will mean in a Bingo in 99% of the cases.
Did you know… In coverall, where all 24 numbered squares must be marked to win, it takes 68 calls or less for someone to score in a 100-card room (99% of the time). In 200-card Bingo, the range is a bit lower – from 66 calls or less. In 500-card Bingo, you’ll get a winner in 64 calls or less 99% of the time. A 1000-card game will produce a winner in 63 calls or less.
