How To Play 75 Ball Bingo

Most online Bingo sites offer you two different ways to play Bingo online: 75 Ball Bingo and 90 Ball Bingo. These two Bingo varieties are very similar in their structure and objectives. In both, each player has a card, a caller calls out randomly generated numbers, and players must mark the numbers on their cards as they are called. The person to first complete the designated winning pattern will win the Bingo match.

There are, however, some differences between the two games. 75 Ball Bingo is patterned on the American style, while 90 Ball Bingo follows the UK style of Bingo play. Due to the different types of Bingo cards that are used in each game, there are more winning combinations in 75 Ball Bingo than in 90 Ball Bingo. The American Bingo style uses a square card that is comprised of 5 rows and 5 columns with one open “Free Space” in the middle. In total, there are 25 squares, each printed with a random number. Each column of the card is headed by a letter in the order: “B-I-N-G-O.” Because of the geometrical symmetry of the 75 Ball Bingo card, there are many different patterns possible. In fact, the only limit to the winning patterns found in 75 Ball Bingo the player’s imagination.

Here are some of the most common patterns you’ll find while learning how to play Bingo in the 75 Ball Bingo style:

Horizontal Row: Mark all five numbers in one of the five horizontal rows on the Bingo card to win this game.
Vertical Column: Mark all five numbers in one of the five vertical columns on the Bingo card.
Diagonal: Mark all four numbers and the Free Space in a diagonal pattern, beginning from one corner of the card and ending in the opposite corner.
Four Corners: All you need to do to win this game is to mark the four squares in the corners of the card. This means that you won’t need any “I,” “N,” or “G” numbers.
Inside Square: Mark all of the squares in the “I,” “N,” and “G” columns (15 including the Free Space) to win.
Coverall: Cover all 25 squares on the Bingo card. This is a player favorite because it’s a challenging, long-lasting game whose winner often receives a big jackpot prize.
“L” Pattern: Mark all of the numbers in the shape of an “L” (one full column plus one full row) along the borders of your Bingo card to win. This game plays heavily on the “B” and “O” columns.
“T” Pattern: Fill in all five squares in the top row and the entire “I” column to win.
